Dave and Monkey Go To Canada

For the last few years, Dave has gone cat skiing in the Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia. Alas, the skiing is too extreme for me, and it's no place for a young child, so it has become a guys' trip. It's a trip Dave enjoys immensely: he loves to ski, and he gets to spend several days with some of his best buddies. Yet, as Maisy gets older, she is more aware of Dave's absence. This year she asked Dave to take her toy stuffed monkey along for the trip. I think both Maisy and Dave thought of the monkey - which Maisy at some point christened Monkos - as her proxy. During their week-long journey in the mountains, Monkos had many adventures with Dave!
