Spring Break

Although it's been on our calendars all year, somehow Maisy's Spring Break snuck up on us. After our initial plans to travel to Sun Valley, ID were stymied by the dry winter and the late date of Easter (thus Spring Break) this year, we just couldn't decide what to do! So we did a couple quick trips here in Northern California, and otherwise had a stay-cation.

The first weekend of Spring Break we went to Tahoe. We never quite got our act together to go during actual winter (not that there was much snow, anyway), so going for Spring Break seemed acceptable. Thankfully, having been to Tahoe only once before, Maisy has no expectations regarding the snow (or lack thereof).

Not to worry, however, there was still snow to be found. Enough for us to do a little snow tubing, for Maisy and Dave to build a snowman, and for Dave to take Maisy for her first outing on skis! She loved it all.

After a few days back in San Francisco that included play dates with friends, our family drove to Stinson Beach for a day. Lovely!

The final day of Spring Break was Easter. We enjoyed a lovely brunch and backyard egg hunt with neighborhood friends.
