In April 2011, Maisy took her first airplane flights to visit her extended family members: Dave's side in New Jersey and in Massachusetts, then my side in Minnesota. Fast-forward to May/June 2014 for a repeat adventure!
In May, Maisy and Dave took a father-daughter trip to Massachusetts where they saw 4 of Dave's 6 siblings and their families, including Maisy's 3 cousins. Unfortunately I wasn't able to join this trip, but Dave sent lots of photos and I knew Maisy was having such a blast that she barely registered my absence. Much of the fun took place in Judy and Jeff's backyard, and alternately in Kevin and Ann's backyard! (They have big yards in MA!)

Just a few weeks later, Maisy and I took a mother-daughter trip to Minnesota so that we could be part of my Uncle Wayne's 70th birthday celebration. Unfortunately, Dave had an off-site commitment for work that week, so he wasn't able to join us. Maisy enjoyed lots of love from Grandma, her great aunts and uncles, and the full array of MN cousins.
