Dying Eggs

We used the leftover dye for a few other things including the tips of our hair and this undershirt. :-)

The Easter Bunny brought stuffed lambs for Maisy and Lizzie.

Happily, our friends Steve, Leslie, Ella, and Olive, as well as Patrick, joined us for Easter brunch.

Later Easter afternoon, I took Maisy to the playground at Grattan School to burn off some steam (and sugar). Entirely of her own accord, she started counting how many times she crossed the monkey bars. At first she set the goal for herself of 5 times, then 10... In the end, she made 49 trips across the bars! 49! She would have done 50 but a popped blister on her hand made it too painful to continue. She was so proud of herself! It was pretty amazing to see her strength, determination and enthusiasm! Go Maisy!
