This summer we happily took our third family vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina! We played and relaxed with the Scotts (Jeff, Judy, Jeffrey (13), Catie (10), and Jake (canine)), the Hoods (Jeff, Amy, James (13), Julianne (10), and Bella (canine), and the Riddles (Mike and Linda, grandparents to the Hood children, Southern charmers of us all).
The days before we were to depart in early July saw us worried that Hurricane Arthur might cancel, delay, or at least dampen our vacation; however, all the angst was for naught as the storm lost steam. We once again joined our family and friends for a great week. And we already can't wait until next year!
