Well, at least when I'm there.
Last weekend our family visited Point Reyes for the second time this year. We enjoyed three gorgeous, quiet days filled with warm sparking autumn sunlight. Fall really is the best season in Northern California.
When we went to Point Reyes earlier this summer, we rented a cottage right in the town of Point Reyes Station. We loved the experiences we had there, but this time we opted for something a bit more removed: a cottage on a ridgetop in Inverness. We were only about a 10-15 minute drive from Point Reyes Station, and it was lovely to view the mountains and the National Seashore from our deck.
Already, my heart is pining to return.

| A massage therapist visited us at the cottage, and even Maisy got a massage. All that playing is hard work! |
And a complete non sequitur: Go Giants! It simply wouldn't be right not to mention the Giants' victory today in the NLDS.
